Puerto Rico Foodies Fest Makes Its Western Debut in Rincón
Food lovers in western Puerto Rico are about to get a taste of one of the island’s most popular culinary events. After successful editions in San Juan and Ponce, Puerto Rico Foodies Fest is expanding west for the first time. The festival will bring two days of food, drinks, desserts, live entertainment, and family-friendly experiences to Rincón on July 25 and 26, 2026.
The event will take place at Plaza de la Amistad and is expected to feature more than 60 food, beverage, dessert, and creative market stations, making it one of the most comprehensive food festivals in Puerto Rico.
Why Rincón?
Expanding to western Puerto Rico was a natural next step. Interest from residents in the region and the success of previous editions helped drive the decision to bring the festival west, while also creating additional exposure opportunities for food businesses at a time when the industry continues to face challenges.
Rincón was selected for its growing culinary scene, strong visitor appeal, and welcoming atmosphere. Support from the Municipality of Rincón also helped make the first western edition possible.
What Visitors Can Expect
Once registered and admitted to the festival, attendees will have access to a wide range of experiences.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase directly from participating vendors, allowing guests to sample a variety of culinary concepts in one location. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy tastings, demonstrations, and opportunities to discover new brands and products.
Beyond the food, Puerto Rico Foodies Fest will feature live tropical music, salsa classes, contests, and family activities.
On Stage
A dedicated culinary stage will feature chefs and beverage experts hosting live demonstrations throughout the weekend.
This year’s festival will include appearances by Chef Yamilette, Chef LeFer, pastry chef Michael González, and mixologist David Rivera.
Their demonstrations will be open to all attendees at no additional cost and will showcase recipes, techniques, and creative culinary concepts.
More Than Food
One of the highlights of Puerto Rico Foodies Fest is its creative market, where local artisans and entrepreneurs showcase a variety of work and products. Visitors can browse artwork, books, flowers, accessories, gifts, and handmade items while supporting small businesses from across the island.
The market adds another layer to the festival experience by highlighting local creativity alongside Puerto Rico’s food culture.
Vendors from Across Puerto Rico
While many businesses from western Puerto Rico will participate, attendees will also have the opportunity to experience concepts from other parts of the island.
Among the businesses already announced are Paletados, Taquería El Trompo, Te Lo Dije Smash Burgers, Teques, Shio Koji, Bistruck, Sweet Menace, and Wing House.
Organizers say the official vendor lineup will be released on social media approximately two weeks before the event (Instagram & Facebook)
Content Creators and Special Guests
Several popular content creators and tourism advocates are also expected to attend. These will include Tírate PR, Brayan of Lindo Lindo, Vera Viajera, Etienne, Carlisa Colón of Finanzas con Chispa, Carlitos Travel, and Agridulce.
These guests will interact with attendees and share their festival experiences through their digital platforms.
VIP Experience Available
While general admission is free with advance registration, attendees can also purchase a VIP experience. This includes exclusive lounge access, private restrooms, a dedicated bar, a welcome cocktail, and preferred entry into the event.
From Inspiration to the Future
Puerto Rico Foodies Fest was created by Inventiva Producciones to bring together people who love discovering new flavors while helping emerging businesses reach new customers.
Inspired in part by a visit to FoodieLand in California, organizers adapted the concept for Puerto Rico by incorporating local culture, cuisine, and entrepreneurship.
Since its launch, the festival has continued to grow, providing a platform for restaurants, food entrepreneurs, artisans, and small businesses from across the island.
The upcoming Rincón edition will mark the festival’s sixth overall event, following three editions in San Juan and two in Ponce.
Bringing Puerto Rico Foodies Fest to Rincón is about more than a weekend of food and entertainment. Organizers see it as an opportunity to support western Puerto Rico’s tourism and culinary industries, showcase local talent, and create new opportunities for restaurants, food entrepreneurs, and small businesses throughout the region.
They also hope this first western edition will be the beginning of future events that continue promoting the area’s growing food scene.
For Businesses Interested in Participating
Organizers say they work to create a diverse mix of food and beverage offerings by limiting categories as they fill. Additionally, they encourage participants to introduce unique concepts and special menu items for the event.
While the western Puerto Rico edition is nearly full, businesses with unique proposals may still inquire about remaining availability. Contact Puerto Rico Foodies Fest via WhatsApp at 787-433-5773.
