Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5  at 1:00 PM in the Rincón Public Plaza for one of the most anticipated events of the year: Oktoberfest and the exciting Beer Olympics 2024. Prepare to indulge in your favorite local craft beers, groove to lively music, enjoy fun games, and soak up the vibrant Puerto Rican vibe. It will be a day packed with flavor and fun!

🌭 What to Eat and Drink 🍻

RBC is rolling out some incredible beers just for the occasion and local restaurants will serve both German-inspired dishes and good old-fashioned beer-drinking food. 

La Champion, a festbier brewed with authentic German malts and traditional Magnum and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops (5.1% ABV), is ideal for sipping alongside German-inspired food. Think bratwurst (Taste Gastrobar), pretzels (RBC), and traditional German beer cheese (Tinto Wine Shop)—perfect for enhancing the malty, crisp flavors of this celebratory brew.

Viernes 13 is a pumpkin beer that captures the flavors of fall with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice. The spices in this beer make it an excellent match for the roasted meats (rabbit stew at El Despecho) and sweet and savory pastries you will find at the plaza’s local restaurants. We hear that Café 413 has whipped up some special desserts for the day that will be a perfect pairing.

RBC’s Hoppy Pilsner (fresh from the bright tank, and yet to be named) will be on tap for those craving a lighter, hoppier option. This will pair perfectly with fried fish, grilled shrimp tacos, or even spicy sausages. Look for all these options at local restaurants around the plaza.
