Game On: Shipwreck’s New Wreck Room Is Here
After 20 years in Rincón, Shipwreck Bar & Grill has added something new to its well-loved mix. The Wreck Room is a laid-back game space tucked in the back of the restaurant. It’s a casual hangout where you can grab a drink, play a round of darts or dominoes, and just relax—no reservation required.
The Wreck Room features ring toss, cornhole, darts, a dedicated domino table, and board games like Jenga and Connect Four. To play, just check the games out at the bar. There’s a small hold on your tab while the games are out, which gets removed once everything’s returned.
The idea, according to owner Nicole, was inspired by the old Club Náutico, where locals once gathered to talk, laugh, and spend time together. You could sit at the bar, or you could just hang out at a table, chatting with friends or even meeting someone new. The Wreck Room brings a little bit of that energy back.
t’s a great option whether you’re out with friends, flying solo, or spending time with family. Especially on those rainy summer afternoons when the beach isn’t in the cards.
Come for lunch or happy hour, stay for the games, and catch the daily early bird food specials.
Happy hour runs from 3 to 5:30pm, followed by early bird food specials from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
