In the middle of the pandemic, when kitchens shut down and the world hit pause, Dania Valle — with over 17 years of experience in the catering industry — saw an opportunity. Alongside her business partner Francisco Levis, she opened a door to something Rincón was missing: a true sports bar.

That’s how Dugout was born. A vibrant, spacious bar that has been bringing life to Plaza Vista Mar, in the heart of Rincón, for the past four years.

Although she’s originally from Mayagüez, Dania has made Rincón her home and created a space that feels like a gathering spot for the community.

A Chill Hangout for Adults

Dugout welcomes all adults, but its laid-back vibe naturally attracts a grown-up crowd that prefers to unwind without loud crowds or over-the-top scenes. It’s the kind of place where you can have a real conversation, catch a game on a big screen, and stay for dinner. No rush, no drama. Just a great time in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Food That Goes Beyond the Usual Bar Menu

Yes, Dugout is all about live sports. Even the bathrooms have screens. But the real surprise is the food. This isn’t your average bar fare. From signature bread bowls stuffed with soup, melted cheese, pasta, to premium cuts like ribeye and osso buco, every dish is made with intention and flavor. The menu is eclectic, satisfying, and well-executed with something for everyone.

Looking for a great deal? They offer daily lunch specials for just $10, including a bottle of water and tax. Available Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:30 p.m.

• Sundays: Good vibes start at 12:30 p.m.
