Mental Health and Wellness in Rincon

Finding Light: Mental Health and Wellness Support in Rincón

A Wellness Center Designed for Healing

Tucked into the mountains of Rincón and surrounded by greenery and fresh air, CCWC was designed to feel different from a traditional clinic. It’s a place to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself. The property includes a dedicated outdoor yoga deck, a movement and fitness room, a pool for mindfulness and retreat activities, a massage and treatment room, and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces for therapy, workshops, and holistic sessions.

Retreats, Workshops, and Community Programs

CCWC regularly collaborates with practitioners and organizations to host wellness and mindfulness retreats, creative programs, workshops, and community projects or trainings. The space can accommodate up to 18 guests, making it ideal for visiting practitioners or groups who want to design their own experiences.

Over the years, CCWC has hosted a variety of groups and programs that align with its mission of community healing. One notable collaboration was with Rutgers University Newark’s “Be The Light” initiative, led by Angie Martinez. This group of International Leadership Exchange Global Scholars came to Puerto Rico after Hurricane María to bring hope and support to local communities. They deployed We Share solar suitcases in community help centers and a cancer care center, promoting sustainable solutions and community recovery. Their journey was documented in the film Be The Light. The film highlights the scholars’ efforts and the lasting connections formed at CCWC.

Founded by Psychotherapist Dujardin Bonet, LCSW, MSW, BTTI

CCWC was founded by Dujardin Bonet. He is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and specialist in anxiety disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He provides therapy in English, Spanish, and Spanglish, working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Dujardin uses a trauma-informed, culturally aware approach that’s backed by proven therapy methods. These methods help clients feel understood and supported while addressing their unique challenges.

Dujardin’s background includes work and training with:

  • Montefiore–Albert Einstein College of Medicine
  • Columbia Psychiatry / NYS Psychiatric Institute
  • NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  • Community-based organizations serving Latinx and BIPOC communities

He also completed specialized OCD treatment training through the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), one of the leading programs in the field.

What CCWC Offers: Integrating Therapy and Holistic Wellness

CCWC sees wellness as a multifaceted journey. Some clients begin with therapy, others with movement or energy work, and many benefit from a combination of both. Clinical services include individual, family, and couples therapy; child and adolescent therapy; group sessions; and ABA therapy for young children. Support is available for anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, and more, providing structure, emotional guidance, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Complementing these clinical services, CCWC offers holistic and energy-based practices such as yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, Reiki, Quantum Reiki, professional coaching, and QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique). Quantum Reiki facilitates an energetic opening over a 10-day integration period, while QHHT explores subconscious patterns and blocks. Clients can engage with these services independently or combine them with therapy, creating a personalized approach to wellness that meets their unique needs.

Fast, Accessible Care in Western Puerto Rico

One of the center’s most notable strengths is its accessibility, which is uncommon for mental healthcare in Western Puerto Rico. Clients can reach out directly through the CCWC website, and responses typically arrive within 48 hours or less. Psychotherapy appointments are also available quickly, making it easier for people to receive timely support when they need it most.

This ease of access helps more individuals get help before challenges escalate, supporting well-being and resilience throughout the year.

What the Client Experience Looks Like

A first-time client usually starts with an online inquiry or phone call. This is followed by a consultation to determine the right services.

People often seek support for anxiety or panic, OCD, depression, or seasonal sadness. Other common concerns include emotional burnout, relationship or family stress, childhood trauma, parenting challenges, adjustment difficulties, and cultural or identity stressors.

The environment is warm, calm, and nonjudgmental. The design intends to make the healing process feel safe and sustainable.

If This Season Feels Heavy

Whether it begins with therapy, a grounding meditation class, or simply taking a moment on the mountaintop deck to breathe, you don’t have to go through it alone. Reach out today and take the first step toward balance and well-being this season.
