Pride in Rincón 2024: Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion

On Saturday, June 29, 2024, Rincón, Puerto Rico is gearing up to host one of its most emblematic and festive events: the 4th Gay Pride Parade, known as Pride Rincón. This year, the celebration is dedicated with special affection to Pedro Julio Serrano. Serrano is a prominent figure in the defense of LGBTQIA+ rights in Puerto Rico.

Pride Rincón is not just a celebration but also a space for visibility and commemoration for the LGBTQIA+ community. Since its inception, this event has established itself as a vital platform to honor the achievements and struggles of this community, while promoting inclusion and mutual respect in our society.

Pride Rincón Event Schedule:

From 4:00 pm to 12:00 am in the following order:

• Parade from Balneario to Plaza de Rincón. During the parade, DJ Renee will share music at Plaza de Rincón.
• Arrival at the Plaza. DJ Renee continues music from 4:00 pm.
• Shop with pride at Rincón’s businesses.
• Welcome and performance by Desiré Cardoza and Bellota Lachapel.
• DJ Xtasys.
• Performance by Yaire.
• Second performance by Desiré Cardoza and Bellota Lachapel.
• DJ Xtasys.
• Stellar performance by Melina León and her orchestra.
• DJ Xtasys.

This will be a day full of fun, unity, joy, live music, exciting performances, and an atmosphere of celebration and respect. We invite the entire Rincón community and visitors from everywhere to join us in this celebration of pride and love. We expect to welcome approximately 5,000 people to enjoy a safe and welcoming environment where diversity is celebrated to the fullest.
