Readers’ Choice 2026: Best Shopping
Where do you go when you’re looking for something new, something useful, or something you probably didn’t know you needed? This is your chance to nominate the boutiques, surf shops, gift stores, makers, specialty shops, and other local retailers you think deserve some attention.
For 2026, there are two separate nomination sections:
Rincón, Aguada & Añasco
Nominate shops, boutiques, makers, and other retailers located in these three municipalities.
The Rest of the West
This section covers the other municipalities in Western Puerto Rico.
You can nominate as many different businesses, experiences, or retailers as you’d like. Just remember: one nomination per nominee is enough. Sending the same nominee multiple times does not give them extra credit. It only creates duplicate entries that we have to sort through and can slow down the nomination process.
Nomination Period: September 16 – October 15
Voting Period: October 23 – November 22
Winners Announced: December 2
