
“A Night in Los Jardines”: A Magical 12-Course Dinner at Alma, Tres Palmas Boutique Hotel
On Friday, September 26, Alma at Tres Palmas Boutique Hotel set the stage for a one-of-a-kind culinary evening titled “A Night in Los Jardines: An Enchanted Forest.” An intimate 12-course dinner welcomed an exclusive group of 44 guests who savored the gastronomic creations of Executive Chef Brenda Gil Enseñat.
Inspired by her grandparents’ farm, where she grew up and first discovered the flavors that shaped her life, Chef Gil Enseñat crafted a culinary journey that carried diners on a sensory voyage around the world. Each dish paid homage to countries such as Spain, France, Italy, England, and Japan, always circling back to Puerto Rico, the heart and soul of her cooking.
“Puerto Rico is my origin. Puerto Rico is my sazón. Puerto Rico is what I carry in my heart,”
shared Chef Brenda Gil Enseñat in a heartfelt poem that recalled her childhood memories of coffee trees, mandarins, and walks to the river on her grandparents’ estate.



The evening was more than a feast of flavors; it was an intimate glimpse into the chef’s personal story, where cherished memories and traditions transformed into a multi-sensory experience blending gastronomy and ambiance in perfect harmony.
