For years, I was on a silent pilgrimage: searching for a beauty salon in Rincón that truly made me feel at home and that my hair would want to be loyal to. I had tried places here and there, but there was always that feeling that something was missing.

One day, while driving along Route 115 in the Calvache neighborhood, I saw a new sign: Hair Mystic by Ivonne Sanabria. The name immediately caught my attention. There was something magical about it, something promising. Without thinking too much, I parked right next to the Calvache Texaco and entered the parking lot of the building where Tropical Coast Properties is also located.

I went in and, a little shyly, asked if by any chance they had space for a blowout next Saturday. In my rush-filled mind, that Saturday felt far away. But Ivonne, with a warm smile, told me it was in less than 24 hours… and that she had an 11 AM slot. I felt the universe guiding me. I left a deposit and walked out with a mix of excitement and curiosity.

First impression: a boho chic vibe

When I returned the next day, the first thing that grabbed me was the atmosphere. The bohemian decor, the details thoughtfully crafted with love, the satin robes that felt like a glamorous hug, and the overall boho chic vibe of the space. It wasn’t the typical beauty salon.
