Pickleball, Raffles, and Saving Satos
The Puerto Rico Dog Fund (PRDF) is bringing back its annual Satos in the Kitchen pickleball tournament on February 14–15 at the Polideportivo in Rincón. The event combines sport, music, local food, and raffles, all to support dogs across Puerto Rico.
PRDF runs programs that directly impact the island’s dog population. The organization provides free and low-cost spay and neuter services, rescue operations, veterinary care, and support to keep pets in loving homes. Every dollar raised during the tournament goes to these lifesaving programs.
The tournament offers something for the whole community. Pickleball enthusiasts can compete or watch matches, while families and neighbors can enjoy food from local vendors and listen to music from DJ Mouse. Ghost Edits will capture highlights of the weekend with photos and videos. Raffle prizes give attendees a chance to win prizes while supporting a cause that makes a real difference.
PRDF encourages everyone to participate, whether by attending the event or donating online at https://prdf.org/. Local businesses can also get involved by supporting the organization’s programs directly or by donating to the event. Every contribution, big or small, helps PRDF continue its work across the island.
This year’s tournament promises two days of activity, community energy, and ways to support PRDF’s mission. Whether attending to play, watch, enjoy food, or participate in the raffle, there’s a chance for everyone to contribute to a cause that touches lives across Puerto Rico.
