Rincón Ride: Spin, TRX, and Pilates with an Ocean View
By Edmaris Carazo
Not the Most Athletic, But Tempted by the Ocean
I’m not exactly the most athletic person, but after decades of trying everything—from spinning in my twenties to CrossFit, yoga, and countless YouTube workouts—the idea of exercising in front of the ocean was irresistible. My first Monday morning Rincón Ride class at 8:30 a.m. was perfect for a holiday, and I approached it with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Stunning Views and a Supportive Community
The luxury of watching the ocean for 55 minutes is unmatched. The group is wonderfully diverse, with people of all ages and genders, sweating and laughing together. Buddy and Rubia, the studio dogs, join in, adding an extra touch of joy. I even saw parents splitting the class around caring for their baby, showing the community’s flexibility and support.

Meet the Instructors
Kim Bushell brings warmth, laughter, and passion to every session. Her classes will get your day started with a smile.
Marci Denesiuk energizes classes with TRX, Spin, and amazing playlists. Her TRX sessions strengthen the whole body in a small, safe group environment.
Jeanne Welch has been with Rincon Ride for five years. Her Saturday morning weekend warrior classes feature base-beat music that drives you up steep hills and helps you find your happy place on the bike.
Kathy McGeehan brings energy and experience. Her TRX/Spin combo, Spin HIIT/Tabata weights, or 50-minute Spin classes motivate you to work hard and have fun.
John McGeehan creates musical journeys with Sunset Rides, Rock and Roll Rides, and theme rides packed with music history and amazing workouts.
Brenna Caico brings a young, vibrant energy. Certified in AFAA group exercise and as a SPINNING instructor, she encourages all levels to build strength and endurance at their own pace.
Music, Movement, and Fun
From vintage classics and 90s rock to reggaeton and worldwide hits, the music keeps you moving. Sprints, hills, and imaginary climbs make the workout challenging yet exhilarating. In less than five minutes, we forget our to-do lists and bills, singing, dancing on the bike, and celebrating every hill we “climb” together.
Witnessing Kindness and Community
One moment that really touched me was seeing one of the instructors set up a bike for a regular who arrived late. Everything was ready so she could hop on and start pedaling immediately. It showed how much the instructors care about making everyone feel welcome and included.
More Than a Workout
Sunset classes, TRX + cycling combos, and other formats all offer the same magic: a place to sweat, focus, and feel better both physically and mentally. By the end, a lavender-scented towel or a well-adjusted bike seat feels like a reward for your effort.
