Super Bowl LX is coming: the Benito Bowl!
Mark your calendars! Super Bowl LX goes down on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with the matchup Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots.
Bad Bunny Takes the Halftime Show
For the first time ever, a Puerto Rican Latin artist will headline the Super Bowl halftime: Bad Bunny.
This is his first time as the headliner, though he made a guest appearance back in 2020 with Shakira and Jennifer López.
Bad Bunny says his performance is “for my people, my culture, and our history”, breaking cultural barriers on the most-watched stage of the year.

Puerto Ricans & Latinos on the Halftime Stage
Bad Bunny may be the first Puerto Rican Latin headliner, but Latinos have been bringing fire to halftime shows for years:
- Jennifer López (Puerto Rican roots) proudly waved the Puerto Rican flag in her 2020 show with Shakira.
- Bad Bunny and J Balvin were there as guests that night too.
- Bruno Mars, whose dad is Puerto Rican, has rocked the Super Bowl stage with Coldplay (2016) and with Red Hot Chili Peppers (2014).
Puerto Ricans in the Super Bowl / NFL
The Boricua presence isn’t just in music! Players with Puerto Rican roots have been part of NFL teams and even in recent Super Bowls; Isiah Pacheco with the Kansas City Chiefs, for example.
Other notable Puerto Rican-descendant players include Tedy Bruschi and Víctor Cruz, legends in their own right.
Fun Fact:
Bad Bunny will be the first male Latin artist to headline the show in Spanish, giving fans and pop culture worldwide plenty of pride.
